2026.10

What's New:

  • New watchlist. Browse the upcoming theatrical slate, bookmark the films you want to see, and see at a glance which ones you have already booked tickets for.

  • You can now use your own image as a movie's poster. Previously this was only possible for movies entered in manual mode.

  • All new Mac app. Rebuilt as a native Mac app so it looks and behaves like a first-class Mac app.

  • Several refreshed views for iOS and iPadOS.

Enhancements:

  • Calendars can now be kept on any account available to the device: iCloud, Google, Outlook, and more.

  • Movie rows on the Movies tab now use the film's own backdrop art by default. You can switch back to poster colors, or turn row backgrounds off, in Settings > Appearance > Row Backgrounds. If you had already turned them off, they stay off.

  • Refreshed the look of the Movie Details and ticket entry screens. Both now lead with the film's backdrop art. You can adjust backdrop art the same way you can currently adjust posters.

  • When a movie's details are refreshed, automatically or manually, every entry for that movie is updated at once, so your other tickets are no longer left showing stale information.

  • Credit scene icons can now be hidden from your upcoming movie list, while still being visible elsewhere.

  • New per-theater field (will be automatically filled in when it can be inferred from the name) for number of auditoriums, feeding a tile on the new Screens view.

  • When Screens is set to Format mode, it now lists film stock formats under the standard premium formats.

  • Several features built for the Mac app made their way to the iPad as well, such as full menu bar support.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Bulk Import Instructions, under Settings > Data Management, opening to a blank screen and then closing back to Home.

  • Fixed opening a movie from a "Movies Using This..." list doing the same thing. These lists appear when something you are deleting, such as a theater, still has movies assigned to it.

  • Fixed some settings not saving when creating a new auditorium. They applied correctly if you edited the auditorium afterwards.

  • Deleting an auditorium from its edit sheet now returns you to the theater's auditorium list instead of the auditorium you just deleted.

  • Fixed lag experienced on data entry for some users.
