This was an email AFTER setting up the forwarding address. I made a purchase (the initial email went through and populated the purchase in the app), checked my emails and saw the email saying the forwarding address was blocked. My impression is I followed the instructions but there might have been some confusion, and I asked it (Gmail) to resend the verification message a few times, so this triggered that response. See the attached screenshot.
When you get a chance can you verify that you are set to only forward emails from AMC. I’m not saying it’s you, but with my very limited logging I can tell someone accidentally set all email to forward. I would expect that to cause some bounce backs and blocked email alerts. Here are a few screenshots of how your Gmail settings screens should look. Sorry for the trouble. Gmail is one of the more difficult ones to configure.
I think I may have calibrated the forwarding wrong, cause EVERY single email (including non-AMC related), have been sent to trash. I’ll give this another shot.
The good thing is, you have the hard part done. Just a couple adjustments on the Gmail website and you will be good. Hopefully my screenshots help. If not reach out. I can help you through it.
I think I managed to sort it out. Will reply back here, unless you want a new thread, if anything happens.
Here is fine. Let me know if things seem well or not.
Got it sorted out. I think the error I made was in the second screenshot, I sent everything to be deleted and there were probably emails that triggered the response from Google, instead of disabling Forwarding. Thanks for all your help with this.
Great! As long as your filter setting is setup like my first screenshot you should be good to go. Sorry for the hassle. Gmail makes it a complicated multi step process for some reason.
Is this with auto forwarding setup, or you just trying to forward by hand? Also, just to confirm, this is an AMC ticket email? Would it be possible for you to send the email as an attachment (not forwarded) to hello@reelsavings.app?
